Commissions
Commission a painting with true meaning.
I'm a Hawaii-based artist taking on a limited number of commissioned paintings each year - landscapes, views from home, and meaningful perspectives in oil, acrylic, and graphite. If there's a place or a moment worth holding onto, I'd love to hear about it.

Hawaiian landscapes
Ridge lines, coastlines, and the light that moves across them — the view that made the islands home.
Views from home
The horizon outside your window, translated into paint. A way to hold onto a place that matters.
Graphite studies
Smaller, quieter works in graphite — a portrait of a place or a person in line and shadow.
The process
From idea to finished piece.
01
Share your idea
Tell me about the place, memory, or view you want captured — a ridge line, a bay, the view from home. A photo, a story, or a single sentence is enough to start.
02
Proposal & alignment
I'll send a proposal with size, medium, palette direction, cost, and a delivery window. I then sketch out the design composition and pull together a color palette to review and align on.
03
Painting & Timing
Once we're aligned on all of the details, I start painting! Commissions usually take six to twelve weeks depending on scope and the studio calendar.
04
Delivery
For Oahu based customers, I am happy to facilitate the framing process at cost. The finished piece is completed and ready to hang, delivered in person on Oahu or crated for delivery.
Pricing
Every commission is unique, so pricing depends on size, medium, and complexity. Smaller works and graphite studies start at a more accessible range; large oils carry more. You'll receive a clear quote with the proposal — no surprises after the work begins.
Timeline
Most commissions take six to twelve weeks from proposal to delivery, depending on scope and the studio calendar. We'll confirm a delivery window up front and I'll keep you posted as the piece progresses.
Inquire
A place, a memory, a view, translated into paint.
Tell me what you have in mind. I take on a limited number of commissions each year and reply to every inquiry personally.
